Earlier this week, Katy Perry appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Amid the wide-ranging conversation with host Alex Cooper, the pop star made a very candid confession about her and Orlando Bloom’s sex life.
Katy and Orlando have been engaged since 2019, a year before they announced that they were expecting their first child together: a little girl named Daisy, who is now 4.
On the podcast, Katy discussed her love languages, noting that she prefers receiving help around the house over lavish gifts.
“If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, and you’ve done all the dishes, and you’ve closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your dick sucked,” she candidly said.
“I don’t need a red Ferrari! I can buy a red Ferrari! Just do the fucking dishes! I will suck your dick! It’s that easy,” she shouted.
Katy added, “Orlando knows all that. He hears me, and he meets me there now.”
Well, Orlando has now publicly responded.
Taking to Instagram, Orlando left a hilarious comment under one of her latest posts promoting her Call Her Daddy podcast episode.
“I’ve cleaned the whole house,” he wrote.
Elsewhere on the podcast, Katy got candid about her and Orlando’s past temporary breakup.
In case you forgot, Katy and Orlando briefly parted ways in 2017 — a year after they started dating. At the time, their representatives shared a statement with People that read, “Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time.”
Of course, the couple ended up rekindling things after about a year, and they’ve remained super strong since.
Looking back on their past split this week, Katy admitted that she found the relationship “boring” after Orlando stopped playing her “cat-mouse game.”
Katy explained that after Orlando took part in a week-long retreat that allowed him to “rewire” his “bad habits,” he “wasn’t playing this cat-mouse game anymore.” She recalled, “I was like, ‘This is boring. I’m moving on.’ I was so used to this push-pull. Because once you have it. I was playing games. It was a dopamine hit.”
Eventually, Katy tried the retreat for herself — and she admitted that it totally changed her life.
“I would not be on this planet without that process — and meditation,” she said. “It just helped me rewire what I think about myself, and it helped me connect my head to my heart.”
